Fifth LTT activity "Creative recycling" took place virtually in ZOOM. It was organised by Colegiul Economic M. Kogalniceanu (Romania) in the period from 7th to 11th June 2021.

It implements the Strategic Partnership Project KA229 "Save the Future Not Only Today", which runs from 01-11-2018 to 31-08-2021 and is funded with the support of the European Union through the Erasmus +.

During the virtual meeting, participated:

15 students and 7 teachers from Turkey,

15 students and 7 teachers from the Czech Republic,

15 students and 7 teachers from Bulgaria,

15 students and 7 teachers from Romania,

5 students and 3 teachers from Latvia.

7 - 11 June 2021 a meeting "Creative recycling" took place virtually. It was organised by Colegiul Economic M. Kogalniceanu (Romania). The aims of the meeting were: to inform the participants about recycling; to raise awareness about the opportunities for recycling; to encourage them towards creative thinking by designing new product out of used plastic, metal, glass or paper materials.

June 7th, the virtual mobility was started with an introduction and presentation of the activity programme for the week. All the participants from Bulgaria, Turkey, Latvia, Romania and Czech Republic took part in an icebreaker activity conducted through Web 2.0 tool Menti. The hosts of the virtual mobility presented cultural and historical presentation about Romania to the participants and they were invited to take a quiz in Kahoot about the knowledge that they have acquired during the presentation. A video of traditional Romanian song was also presented.

All the participants completed a Pre-test via Google Forms containing information about the mobility to test their prior knowledge about the topic of the mobiliy.

June 8th, the day started with introduction of the activity programme. The coordinator school from Czech Republic demonstrated a traditional song from their country. The host form Romania made a presentation about the World Oceans Day and during the second session for the day the students were divided in teams in order to take part in a workshop about creation of a poster to celebrate the World Ocean Day. The posters created by the students in CANVA were presented in the third online session. All the five formed teams also had to conduct a discussion led by the group leaders in order to suggest three possible answers to the question "What can we do at school to protect the nature?". The results were shared among all the participants.

June 9th, During the third day of the virtual mobility a traditional Latvian song was presented. The Romanian partner shared a video about wine preparation in the region of Focsani. During the second session the students and teachers were divided again in teams in order to take part in the second workshop "Be creative using paper, plastic, metal or glass: pencil holder". The participants had to be prepared in advance having all the needed materials for the creation of a pencil holder. Every team had to work with different material: paper, plastic, metal or glass. The products (pencil holders) created were presented to all the participants.

June 10th, After the presentation of the day programme the by the host the Bulgarian partner showed a video created by the students about folklore songs typical for the county. A presentation about Bran Castle (Dracula Castle) was delivered and a quiz in Wordwall was initiated. The students took part in the third workshop "Be creative using your imagination". The task for the teams was to create an acrostic with a given word like environment, recycling, reducing, reusing, etc. Presentation and voting for the best acrostic was organized.

June 11th, During the final day of the mobility the partner school from Turkey presented a traditional song. All the participants took part in online games about recycling, created in Genially and the results were presented to everyone. Post-test and evaluation test were filled in via Google Forms.

Thanks to this virtual mobility the participants:

- improved communication and language skills;

-exchanged views, shared ideas and learned from their European peers;

-developed intercultural skills through respect for cultural diversity, tolerance, mutual understanding;

- improved problem solving abilities, observation skills, creative thinking etc.

-enhanced knowledge about environmental problems and finding solutions to them, as well as getting to know different methods for recycling and ways to save natural resources.

At the end of the mobility, objectives of the mobility were fulfilled and all participants were entitled to receive certificates.
